The Secular Case for Reparations
Black Americans have been denied the promise of redress and repair for 165 years. Although efforts have been made through various movements, we are still one of the most economically and socially depressed group in the US by design. Reparations to those who descend from Chattel Slavery is one of the tools to change the position of this group but there are many obsticles to face on this journey to repair. Can an organized movement using rationality and reason be the determining factor to get Black Americans the redress they are owed?
